This session will help you understand emotional intelligence (EQ) and use it as an effective RIM and personal development tool. It is important for records managers to maintain relationships with different people and departments throughout their organizations in order to get buy-in for their records programs. EQ is all about relationships — it is our capacity to be aware of, control, and express our emotions, as well as handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically. We will explore tips for developing your emotional intelligence to serve you better in working relationships, especially with leadership and other stakeholders. Ultimately, strengthening your emotional intelligence at work can lead to strengthening your records programs!
Natalie is an experienced consultant and coach with a history of business development in domestic and international multinational corporations. She has special expertise in building and developing top-performing teams, and developing executives through utilizing assessments and creating training curricula.
Natalie is an Assistant Professor and Course Developer at New England College of Business and Finance. She has been certified in Learning in Action’s EQ In-Action Profile, HR Chally Instruments, and Caliper Profile®. She is also Faculty Member at Family Firm Institute Global Education Network Certificate Program 2017-2020.
Natalie received the FFI Certificate in Family Business Advising (CFBA), Family Wealth Advising (CFWA) and Advanced Certificate in Family Business Advising (ACFBA).
